Got married, moved to North Carolina
I haven't been posting much lately, and that's why. I'm still a bit dazed, but it's been pretty awesome so far.

Thanks all!
And yeah, it's pretty, although the heat + humidity has been brutal the past few days.
It's good. We had been together for over seven years, so there's not a huge difference. None the less, it's very satisfying to no longer write "single" on lease applications and to be able to call my [ex-?] girlfriend my wife.A_Cynic wrote:How's married life treating you?

I drove from Minnesota, and my first stop in NC was Asheville. Asheville, to my great surprise, was the most hippie town I've ever been in--and I was born in Berkeley, CA and went to school in Olympia, WA. There was seriously a street musician count of about 1 per block, a dreadlock per capita hovering at around .3, at least 5 coffee shops, and as many art galleries.violence in the media wrote:Just kidding about N.C. I've only been there a handful of times, but it was beautiful.

I'm in Durham: my wife just signed on as a grad student as Duke medical school.fbmf wrote:Chances are good that I will be in NC in November. What part are you in?

My son makes me laugh. Maybe he'll make you laugh, too.
